Amerafric Capital is an alternative investment manager with an approach that combines fundamental economic insights with a systematic approach to uncover mispriced securities and build relative value portfolios.
We believe that investment is like driving a car on a highway, there is a time for cruise control when conditions are friendly, there is a time for active defensive driving when weather is challenging.
- Take advantage of market and economic shocks driving securities out of equilibrium; use financial economic models; diagnose incoherence between models and markets to make occasional discretionary interventions.
- Systematic investment approach to build a diversified all-weather basket of alpha.
- Risk management starts with security selection and portfolio construction, targeted risk metrics monitored by independent tools, while deviations from expectations lead to corrective action.
